O testemunho como ferramenta clínico-política / The witness as a clinical policy tool

RESUMO

O presente trabalho apresenta os resultados parciais do Projeto Clínicas do Testemunho, promovido pela Sigmund Freud Associação Psicanalítica, em parceria com a Comissão de Anistia (Ministério da Justiça). Disserta-se a respeito da função do testemunho como ferramenta clínico-política no âmbito da reparação psíquica dos afetados pela ditadura civil-militar brasileira, objetivo principal do mencionado projeto. Dentro desse contexto, almeja-se sublinhar as especificidades do testemunho, distanciando-o do depoimento como paradigma da prova jurídica, para enfatizar o trabalho de elaboração subjetiva do sujeito ante as violências de lesa-humanidade. Para tanto, analisam-se as condições sociais de recepção do testemunho, fazendo um paralelo entre o contexto da emergência dos testemunhos sobre a Shoah e os efeitos de silenciamento da autoanistia brasileira. Por fim, apresenta-se um caso atendido pelo Projeto Clínicas do Testemunho, no qual levantamos hipóteses sobre a potência clínico-política de um acompanhamento psicossocial realizado entre o âmbito privado e o público...

ABSTRACT

This paper presents the partial results of the Clinics of Testimony Project, promoted by the Sigmund Freud Psychoanalytic Association, in partnership with the Amnesty Committee (Ministry of Justice). We deal with the functionof testimony as a clinical and political tool with in the scope of psychic recovery of those affected by the Brazilian civil-military dictatorship, which is the main goal of the mentioned project. In this context, it is our aim to emphasizethe specifics of testimony, distancing it from the paradigm of legal proof to emphasize the subject’s subjective elaboration in face of the violence against humanity. Therefore, we analyze the social conditions of the testimony, making a parallel between the context of the emergence of testimonies about the Holocaust and the silencing effects of the Brazilian self-amnesty.
