Tratamiento continuado por 8 años de complicaciones de diabetes mellitus tipo 2: reporte de caso / Continuing treatment by eight years of complications of diabetes mellitus type 2: case report

RESUMEN

Paciente femenina de 76 años quien acude a consulta en el 2006 parauna segunda opinión sobre el tratamiento de enfermedad renal crónicabuscando una alternativa a la diálisis crónica, la cual no aceptaba bajoninguna circunstancia. Desde la primera consulta se realiza una sesiónfamiliar dando educación para la salud, clarificando la situación de suenfermedad y re-etiquetando su problema, se establece un contratoterapéutico a largo plazo situación que acepta la familia. Lasexpectativas se plantean muy apegadas a la realidad y se inicia untratamiento farmacológico, el cual ha perdurado por 8 años sustentadopor sesiones familiares de terapia breve sistémica. Se desglosan lasconsultas, la evolución, el seguimiento de sus exámenes clínicos y elsoporte familiar, así como la intervención del médico familiar a otromiembros de la familia.

ABSTRACT

76 year old female patient attended our clinic in 2006 for a second opinionon the treatment for chronic kidney disease looking for an alternative tochronic dialysis which is not accepted under any circumstances. Fromthe first visit by a family health education is done, clarifying the status ofhis illness and re-categorizing your problem, a therapeutic long-termcontract that accepts the family situation is established. Expectations areraised so attached to reality and drug treatment which has endured foreight years supported by brief systemic family therapy sessions begins.In the clinical chart visits, evolution, monitor their clinical and familysupport and family physician intervention to other family members are listed.
