ABSTRACT
The human renal growth was studied on 60 kidneys (30 staged fetuses; gestational ages ranged 10 to 38 weeks pos-conception, WPC). The kidneu were quantitatively evaluated considering their greatest lengeth(L) and their weight (W). the data were correlated to the gestational age by using the allometric method (Y = bxalfa). The equations of the growth curves were (rk=right kidney; ik = left kidney) Lrk = 0.03 WPC1.41; LIk = 0.03 WPC1.4 LIk = 0.03 WPC1.46; Wrk = 8.13 x 10-***6WPC[[[4.06 and WIk = 1.18 x 10-***5WPC3.96 (p < 0.001)
