ABSTRACT
An in vitro analysis of fluoride in the surface enamel using x-ray photo-electron spectroscopy carried out on sound untreated teeth, sound teeth treated with neutral NaF and acidulated NaF and teeth with artificial caries treated with NaF and acidulated NaF revealed Ca/F ratio at surface and 360 degrees A as 0.1401 and 0.1401; 0.6361 and 0.1921; 1.1121 and 0.9081. 1.21 and 1.2891; 2.111 and 1.871 respectively.
