ABSTRACT
Ethanolic extract of leaves of Passiflora incarnata.L (Passifloraceae) (200 mg/kg, p.o) exhibited significant Hypnotic activity (3.5 mg/kg i.p) being comparable to that of lorazepam (0.5 mg/kg) respectively.
