Serum prolactin in chronic hydrocephalus.

ABSTRACT
The present prospective study attempts to correlate the changes in serum prolactin in chronic hydrocephalus to the ventricular size on ct scans, before and after effective csf diversion in order to assess whether serum prolactin can be a reliable paramater of shunt efficacy and whether it alters with changes in ventricular size.
