Cytopathological study of bone tumours.

ABSTRACT
Fine needle aspiration biopsy is now widely used for detection of any pathological lesions like neoplasm, specific inflammation, cysts, etc. In a study of 22 cases, 17 (77.2%) were diagnosed by aspiration. Specific diagnosis was found in 59% cases and in 18.2% cases suggestive diagnosis was confirmed by histopathological examinations from biopsy materials. Like other investigative methods it is accurate and informative. It is also simple, can be done quickly and cheaper economically.
