Anxiety disorder holds the highest prevalence among adults in China, whereas the research and development of its therapeutic drugs are relatively backward. At present, the commonly used anxiolytics in clinical practice are some benzodiazepines, non-benzodiazepines, and antidepressants, most of which have unpleasant side effects.
