ABSTRACT
With the application of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in the treatment of tumor, the immune-related adverse events often affect the treating process, and the ICI-related enterocolitis is the most common and severe one. Studies on fecal microbiota transplantation revealed that reconstruction of gut microbiota is of great value in the treatment of tumor and other diseases. This article reviewed the advances in research on ICI-related enterocolitis and the role of gut microbiota in tumor immunotherapy.
