Treatment of acute leukemia type M3 by ATRA

ABSTRACT
There are 21 pro-myeloid leukemia patients were treated by ATRA from 4/1999 to 12/2000 with dose 40 mg/day in 90 days. The results should that there are 62% remission after 40.8 days, 5% was good in 15 months, 33% was death, among 71.4% the cause of death by the brain bleeding. The disorder coagulation was good after 15 days of treatment. The count of red cell, white cell, platelet become normal after 45 days. The result shows that the early diagnosis was necessary for preventing disorder coagulation by using high dose corticoid. It was addition of FFP and cryoprecipitate
