ABSTRACT
Pilomatrix carcinoma is a rare malignant neoplasm. It can develop de novo or by a malignant transformation from an existing pilomatricoma. Clinically, it presents as an asymptomatic, variable sized, firm, deep seated nodule on the posterior neck and upper back of middle-aged men. Histologically, it has features of pilomatricoma as well as nuclear atypia and more numerous mitoses. It is a locally aggressive tumor that has a tendency to recur. We report a case of pilomatrix carcinoma in 46-year-old woman who presented a 1.5 X 1cm sized, hard and movable nodule on her neck for 1 month.
