ABSTRACT
40 male mice were divided into 4 groups control [10], lead acetate intraperitoneal injected mice at dose 0.2mg/kg/day for 15 days [10], lead acetate + extract from the green bean tegument treated mice [10], and lead acetate + extract from total seeds of green bean [10]. The extract of green bean was used as drink at dose of 1,5g green bean/each mouse/day for 17 days (green bean was given to mice 2 days before injection of lead acetate). At dose of used lead acetate exerted clastogenic effect in bone marrow cells, but not exert in testicular cells the frequency of structural aberrations in bone marrow cells have been significantly higher than that in control. The extract from tegument or total seeds of green bean reduced the frequency of chromosome aberrations caused by lead acetate.
