ABSTRACT
Liquid silicone which is used for cosmetic enhancement can potentially induce a granulomatous reaction of variable severity. Treatment of silicone granuloma is challenging and often uncorrectable. We describe a case of adverse granulomatous inflammation after the injection of silicone. This was improved with oral minocycline and intralesional injection of triamcinolone acetonide.
