ABSTRACT
205 old patients who have pulmonary tuberculosis with directive BK (+) in sputum were involved in this study. Patients, including 130 men (63.4%) and 75 women (36.6%), were 60 years of old and more. Results showed that rate of anemia that related to erythrocyte and Hb is high. Olders with pneumo-tuberculosis have concomitant infections. Increasing in rate of blood deposition occurred in 99.2% of patients. Rate of BK (+) in sputum related positively to area of damage. Ventilative function and vital capacity decreased dramatically. The patients remained immunity with TB. Rate of change in liver function was relative high. Level of GOT enzyme was increased. Patients should be monitored closely in clinical, especially for these who are receiving chemotherapy.
