Determination of matrine, sophoridine and oxymatrine in Compound Kushen Injection by HPLC / 中国中药杂志

ABSTRACT

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To establish a high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method for determination of matrine, sophoridine and oxymatrine in Compound Kushen Injection.</p><p><b>METHOD</b>Alltima amino column was used with acetonitrile-3% phosphoric acid-ethyl alcohol (801010) as the mobile phase and the detection wavelength was at 220 nm.</p><p><b>RESULT</b>The mean recovery of matrine, sophoridine and oxymatrine in Compound Kushen Injection was 99.51% (RSD 1. 58%), 99.24% (RSD 1.44%) and 100.22% (RSD 1.85%), respectively.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>The method was simple, rapid, accurate and specific and suitable for quality control of the product.</p>
