ABSTRACT
30 patients (male 25) with average ages of 61+/- 3.8 and hypertension grade I-II were examined and tested. They used coversyl at a dose of 4mg/day. The results have indicated that the use of coversyl at dose of 4 mg daily reduced quitely the blood pressure and maintained this throughout 4 weeks of the treatment for grade I-II hypertensive patients. The major side effects was dry cough which related with the dose. Therefore, it should combine coversyl with other drug to prevent from using the high dose of coversyl in case the blood pressure was not reduced as wanted.
