ABSTRACT
Pesticide poisonings continue to be a national problem in U.S.A.. Recent epidemiological studies have suggested that approximately 3, 000 patients are hospitalized for pesticide poisonings each year. The problem of pesticide residues and issues of carcinogenesis are also causing grave concern.<BR>The aim of this paper is to review the pesticide poisonings in U.S.A. and introduce some regulatory approaches in recent years.
