ABSTRACT

Objective Analysis of the influence of enviromental factors on consumer satisfaction and behavior intentions. Methods The random sampling method is called into play for empirical investigation of some hospitals and medical organization in Guangzhou, in order to determine the environmental factors for hospitals by means of factor analysis and regression analysis. Results It is found that environmental factors affecting hospitals include the following (1) internal environmental factors; (2) social factors; (3) hospital facilities and beds design factors; (4) hospital location and transportation factors; (5) aesthetic factors. Conclusion Hospitals should sophistically design and manage environment variables in view of potential customers, differentiating themselves from the rest for greater shares in the target market.
