ABSTRACT

Thrombospondin-1 is known as its anti-angjogenic and proapoptotic activities in oncogenesis. In current research, it has a intimate relationship with taxol resistance. Sensitivity of tumor cells to taxol will descend when the expressionof TSP1 is downregulated,and TSP1 downregulation is mediated by a new gene of taxol-resistance gene 1, the discovery provids a new trend to solve taxol resistance.
