The diagnostic value of creatine kinase in detecting patient with Duchenne muscular dystrophy / 国际儿科学杂志

ABSTRACT

Creatine kinase(CK)is an intracellular kinase, playing an important role in energy storage and transmission of myocyte. Duchenne muscular dystrophy( DMD) patients are usually early diagnosed by high level of CK in the blood.We discussed CK distribution in the human body,its isozymes and isoforms,its diagnostic value for DMD and its use in neonatal screening for DMD.
