Clinical analysis of 33 patients with male breast cancer / 中国基层医药

ABSTRACT

Objective To analyze the diagnosis and compound therapy of male breast cancer.Methods 33patients with male breast cancer were admitted and their documents were retrospectively analyzed.Results Follow up to December 2008.2 patients had recurrence,11 patients had distant metastases.Conclusion Male breast cancer is an uncommon disease.The diagnosis is mainly taken on postoperative pathology,ancillary lymph node metastasis is the main factor of prognosis.Combined therapy probably could improve the survival rate.
