Technical progress in hip arthroplasty

ABSTRACT

The latest technical progresses were applying in hip arthroplasty are using minimal invasive and small incision total hip replacement surgery; computerization in determining the position of artificial joints; and the changes of joint materials. Author mentioned the main principles and techniques including indications and contraindications, some notes before operation, methods, and rehabilitations. The devices and equipments are available in Vietnam. It's hope that these progresses are applied broadly to improve the outcomes for patients
