ABSTRACT
Isoprostanes are endogenously formed products of lipid peroxidation, furthermore, they are undependent on ring oxidase and lipoxygenase.lsoprostanes are established markers of oxidative stress.Furthermore, they are markers of oxidative stress and independent risk markers of coronary heart disease.Studies have indicated that oxidative stress is one of the reasons for the pathological changes of Coronary artery.8-Iso-prostaglandin F( 2 ),which is the maximum in isoprostanes, belongs to the unsaturated fatty acid (20),exists in the phospholipid SN-2 position.8-1so-prostaglandin F ( 2 ),a representative isoprostane,is a specific, sensitive, reliable biomarker for enhanced oxidant stress in vivo, which plays an important role in coronary lesions.
