ABSTRACT
Objective To investigate the trait coping styles of nursing students with different education levels.Method Fifty nursing undergraduates and 50 nursing students on three-year courses were investigated by Trait Coping Style Questionnaire(TCSQ). Results The scores on active and negative coping styles were both positive,while the differences between the two groups in both the coping styles were significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion The nursing students of different education levels are different in trait coping styles when facing difficulties and pressure at work.So it is necessary to perform pertinent mental health education in accordance to their own traits so as to improve their coping styles.
