ABSTRACT
Kawasaki disease,also known as mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome,is an acute,febrile,multisystem disease in children.The coronary artery lesions caused by Kawasaki disease has become the most common acquired heart disease in children.In recent years,epidemiological investigation on Kawasaki disease has been launched in the world.It can provide the basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment of Kawasaki disease through summarizing the epidemiological characteristics of Kawasaki disease in the different regions in China in recent 20 years,including the characteristics of incidence,age,gender,nationality,family history,seasonal onset,relapse rate,mortality and heart damage.
