ABSTRACT
51 eyes of 50 patients with the ophthalmological traumatic in the traumatic department of the institute of ophthalmology during 1996 - 1998 were studied. They are mainly men with ages of under 40, injuries during working. The foreign body passed over the cornea and broken the lens (62.74%). The size of the foreign body less than 3mm accounts for 70.8%. The technique of vitreous humor section though par plan was implemented under surgical microseopy for removal of the foreign body (the sucessful rate 86.27%). The vision is generally low. The common complications were post-operative intraocular bleeding and the retinal detachment.
