Primary control on quality of tablet and injection forms of artesunate by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)

ABSTRACT
The Micheal Ashton's modified method was used to determinate artesunate (AS) concentrations in tablets and injection forms in order to improve the skillfulness of laboratory staff of National Institute of Malariology - Parasitology - Entomology. Average contents of artesunate of the tablets and injection form of the samples collected in 2001 and 2002 which met the stipulated criteria of Ministry of Health. Tablet content in 2001 was 48.09mg/tablet and in 2002 was 48.40mg/tablet. Injection content in 2001 was 60.50mg/vial and 56.09mg/vial in 2003
