Study on mental health of health staff who works in psychical occupation

ABSTRACT
The aim of the study was to evaluate the current mental health and determine the risk factors caused occupational stress. The subjects consisted of 918 health staffs who directly served psychiatric patients. The cross description method was applied.

Results:

the rate of mental disorder was 16.19%, sleep disorder 6.5%, asthenia 5.2%, anxiety 2.1%, depression 2.3%. The psychical stresses influenced on the mental health in those subjects such as simple and repeated work was 81%, low salary 75.1%. The accidental risks in their occupation were 76.1%. The psychical stress in work was 64%. The rate of mental disorders of health staff who work in psychical occupation was rather high. The occupational factors occurred with high frequency
