Determination of borneol, isoborneol and menthol inBingshuang-Meisu pill by GC / 国际中医中药杂志

ABSTRACT

Objective To establish a method for the determination of borneol, isoborneol, menthol in Bingshuang-Meisu pill.Methods The capillary column PEG-20M(30 m × 0.32 mm, 0.25μm) was used, naphthalene was adopted as internal standard substances, split injection(split ratio 101), temperature programme, the injector temperature was 240℃, the detector temperature was 250℃.Results The linear response range of menthol, borneol, isoborneol were 13.00-104.00μg/ml, 6.80-54.40μg/ml, 5.40-43.20μg/ml and the average recovery were 97.90%, 98.05% and 97.77%, RSD were 0.98%, 1.53% and 1.40% respectively. Conclusion The method was highly sensitive, accurate, and repeatable. It can be an important method to control the standard ofBingshuang-Meisu pill.
