ABSTRACT
Radiation-induced organ fibrosis is a common complication of tumor radiotherapy and radiation accident, which poses a serious threat to patientslife.TGF-β, CTGF, PDGF-BB and NF-κB all play important roles in this pathological process, and drugs targeting these key molecules are also being developed, some of which have shown positive therapeutic effects. This review focuses on the molecular mechanisms and therapeutic progress involved in radiation-induced organ fibrosis, intended to provide a new clue to the complex process of radiation-induced organ fibrosis, and to provide a new strategy for treatment.
