ABSTRACT

Objective:Optimize the high-value consumables in hospital logistics process with scientific and efficient management.Methods: Using Deming cycle(PDCA) management and the bar code combining with the secondary library management, we tracked management the high-value consumables during the whole logistics process.Results: The realization of uniqueness of the barcode ensures the logistics process of high-value consumables which can be fully traceable. It can avoid the phenomenon of inventory backlog in clinical departments and improve the management level of the hospital high-value consumables effectively.Conclusion: Using PDCA cycle management and the bar code combining with the secondary library management, can improve the quality of high-value consumables management and service level effectively, and created more economic and social benefit for the hospital.
