CAUSES OF FALLS IN 107 PATIENTS AND RELATED PREVENTIVE MEASURES / 现代医院

ABSTRACT
Objective To analyze the causes of falls in 107 patients, and to provide reference for the pre-vention of falls in hospitalized patients .Methods The analysis of hospitalized patients fall down where nursing area , age, fall time, place, disease, carer and the extent of internal medicine , brain and geriatrics is high incidence area of falls in the hospital , the ratio was 75.70%in total;the age of the fall patient ≥60 years old accounted for 81.31%;The high time for fall in the night (47.66%);Ward was the main falls area;Occurrence fall disease of fall patients mainly with cerebral infarction , hypertension, coronary heart disease , diabetes, accounted for 47.67%; In the fall with carer accounted for 71.96%;First grade damage accounted for 49.35%.Conclusion elderly people are the high risk group of falls , and the decline of physiological function and the influence of many diseases and drugs have a close relationship with fall .High time and place of falls in patients hospitalized in the night and ward , fall damage is given priority in mild and no damage , in fall patient with carer rate is higher .So the future hospital with fall preven-tion key points of nursing work should focus on pay close attention to the patient 's physiological status , disease and drug use, strengthen medical personnel to fall early risk assessment and give corresponding intervention measures , pay attention to the ward environment and the safety of facilities , strengthen the nursing management and nursing edu-cation, so as to reduce the occurrence of the event of a fall .
