ABSTRACT

The level of lipid peroxides of myocardium both in ischemic and in nonischemic zone was determined by thiobarbituric acid flourophotometry. And the relationship between the level of lipid peroxides in ischemic myocardium and ST-segment elevation was studied using the experimental animal model of acute myocardial ischemia by ligating the branch of left coronary artery. In the present experiment, the protective effects of Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae(RSM) on ischemic myocardium was studied by observing lipid peroxides and ECG.
