A Morphometric Study and Computerized Diagnosis of Well Differentiated Adenocarcinoma and Precancerous Lesions of Colon / 昆明医科大学学报

ABSTRACT

Using an automatic image analyser,we have determined 18 parameters(250 fields)about the glandular,cytologic and nuclear atypia of the colonic mucosa of well-differentiated tubular adenocarcinoma,of mild,moderate and severe atypical hyperplasia and of normal.Statistic re- sults showed that most parameters had remarkable differences among the 5 groups.By stepwise discriminatory analysis,we selected 4 parameters(NLM,NPM,NCR,GASD)which had ex- cellent coincidence rates(95.6% and 100%)with the actual pathological diagnosis in the 250 previous cases and 50 new cases.The computer diagnosis system provided an objective and simple method for the diagnosis of colonic adenocarcinoma and precancerous lesions.
