ABSTRACT

The capsule possesses the properties of benefitting Qi, nourishing Yin and activating blood circulation and eliminating stasis. It improves fat metabolism, stimulates function of pancreatic islets, lowers blood glucose as well as alleviates clinical sym(?)oms, with satisfactory results on vascular complications. Improvements also include left myocard(?)l anoxia, left heart function, cerebral blood ci(?)ulation, dilatation of arteries in lower limbs, with anticoagulation and thrombolytic effect.It also reveals certain effect on diabetic nephropathy and early diabetic retinosis.
