ABSTRACT
The therapeutic principle include elimination of ascitis first, followed by nourishing and supporting the body resistance. The basicrecipe for the former was Wuling Powder. The illness was grouped into five types with respective modifications of drugs for each type, plus western diuretics, with suppoting therapy for severe cases. Afterascitis was expelled supporting body resistance was given, plus pathogen eliminating remedies. liver protection drugs and vitamins. Thetotal effective rate was 87. 5%.
