ABSTRACT
Objective To evaluate the effects of nimodipine (NIM) on pregnancy induced hypertension(PIH) and to assesse the effects of nimodipine on intraplatelet free calcium(PF[Ca 2+ ] i). Methods Fourty eight patients with moderate or severe PIH were randomized to receive either NIM or magnesium sulfate. We observed the change of blood pressure, urc protein, PF[Ca 2+ ] i and symptoms of preeclampsia before and after medication. We compared the pregnancy outcome of the two groups.
