ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluate the analgesic effects of continuous infusion of morphine into epidural space(CIEA) on postoperative pain relief after prostatectomy. Methods 40 cases of benign prostate hypertrophy were selected and randomly divided into two groups,experimental group(CIEA),0 2mg/h of morphin was injected into epidural space,control group(MI),50mg of pethidine was injected whenever patient feel pain.VAS(Vision simulate score),frequency and duration of bladder spasm,discontinuance time of bladder irrigation,HR BP and RR,were observed.
