ABSTRACT
Objective To investigate sleep efficiency and characteristics in pediatric obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) and primary snoring (PS) children. Methods 32 children with OSAHS, and 27 PS children were monitored by nocturnal polysomnography (PSG). The parameters of sleep efficiency(SE) and sleep composition, including apnea/hyponea index(AHI),stageⅠ sleep(S1)%, stageⅡ sleep(S2)%, slow wave sleep(SWS)% and rapid eye movement(REM)%, were recorded and compared between the two groups.
