ABSTRACT

AIM:

To determine whether overexpression of CLN3 is involved in the tumorigenesis of ovarian cacinoma.

METHODS:

10 specimens of ovarian carcinoma were screened for CLN3 gene expression level by semiquantitative RT-PCR and Western blotting.

RESULTS:

Overexpression of CLN3 mRNA and protein was found in all ovarian tumor tissues as compared with normal tissues.

CONCLUSION:

The overexpression of CLN3 may contribute to tumor development of ovarian cancer.
