RESULTS:

Leading the list in terms of DDDs and DDC were calcium antagonists,ACEI and compound preparations.

CONCLUSION:

The utilization of oral antihyperetensive drugs in the emergency department of our hospital was basically in line with that of the currently common antihypertensive drugs, however, the application categories should be extended, esp.for those with prolonged action.Furthermore, individualized medication should be advocated and great importance should be attached to ADR.
