ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To study the implementation of Prescription Management Method (PMM) in our hospital and to promote rational drug use. METHODS: A total of 71 000 prescriptions were collected from Sept. 2006 to Dec. 2007 (before implementation) and from May to Dec. in 2007 (after implementation) for a statistical analysis and evaluation of the irrational prescriptions.
