Objective To approach the relationship of overweight and obesity with risk factors of cardiovascular disease such as blood pressure, plasma lipid and blood glucose. Methods 1 499 of the institutions cadres were selected by Cluster sampling, and determined on their height, weight, waist, hip, blood pressure, fasting blood glucose and plasma lipid.
