ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the curative efficacy of hepatocyte growth-promoting factors(HGSF)in combination with glutathione in the treatment of severe hepatitis.METHODS:84 patients with severe hepatitis were randomly divided into two groupsthe control group received comprehensive treatment for 14 days,and the trial group received HGSF plus glutathione in addition to the comprehensive therapy as in the control group for 14 days.RESULTS:The total effective rates for the trial group and the control group were 76.2% and 45.2%,respectively(P
