Utilization of Psychotropic Drugs in Our Hospital During 2006～2008 / 中国药房

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To probe into the status quo and the tendency of the utilization of psychotropic drugs in our hospital. METHODS:The consumption sum,DDDs and the daily drug cost of psychotropic drugs from 2006 to 2008 were analyzed statistically in this retrospective study. RESULTS & CONCLUSION:The consumption sum of psychotropic drugs in our hospital assumed year-on-year increase tendency. The DDDs of the first generation of psychotropic drugs remained stable. The consumption amount of the non-first generation of antipsychotic drugs increased year on year,with risperidone showing the most rapid increase. Fluoxetine,venlafaxine and paroxetine took the lead among all the antidepressant drugs used. However,the consumption amount of tricyclic antidepressants decreased markedly. Benzodiazepine took the lead among all the antianxiety drugs.
