ABSTRACT
OBJECTIVE:
To study the influence of processing method on the content of 3 kinds of alkaloids in Phellodendron chinense.METHODS:
HPLC was used to determine the content of 3 kinds of alkaloids in P. chinense,such as stir-frying with wine,salt-roast process and carbonization. The separation was performed on Zorbax SB-C18(250 mm?4.6 mm,5 ?m) column. The mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-0.1% phosphoric acid (48 ∶ 52,0.1 g SDS per 100 mL) with flow rate of 1.0 mL?min-1. Detection wavelength was set at 265 nm and column temperature was set at room temperature. Injection volume was 10 ?L.RESULTS:
Except for special case,the content of berberine hydrochloride,pamatine hydrochoride and jateorizine hydrochoride were all decreased after processing,especially carbonization.CONCLUSION:
The 3 kinds of alkaloids can be also used as index of quality control of processed P. chinense. The method is simple,rapid and accurate for the determination of 3 kinds of alkaloids in P. chinense.
