ABSTRACT
Following high velocity projectile wound to dog legs, some indexes reflecting hepatic functions were measured. It was found that at 24 hr after wounding the ATP and phospholipid levels of the liver decreased, and that the OCT activity in serum and liver MDA content increased. The results revealed that the hepatic function impaired at 24hr after injury. It suggested that the hepatic function should be monitored and maintained even in the early period of high velocity projectile injury.
