Relationship between Self-concept and Mental Health in Middle School Students / 中国临床心理学杂志

ABSTRACT
To explore the relationship between self-concept and mental health.

Methods:

398 middle school students were tested by SCL-90 and Song-Hattie Self-concept Scale.

Results:

The correlation coefficients between the total score of SCL-90 and academic self-concept, non-academic self concept and total self concept were -0.22, -0.21 and -0.23 respectively.

Conclusion:

Self concept was significantly correlated with mental health in middle school students.
