ABSTRACT

Objective:To investigate the effects of Te xol combined radiotherap y on quality of life (QOL) of olderly patients suffering from advanced non small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods:Eighty-eight patients wit h the diagnosis of NSCLC were matched into two groups according to UICC-TNM and age. A total of 31 pairs of matched patients were fina lly includedin the study.While the treatment group were received Texol combi ned with radiotherapy,the control group received Carboplatin plus Etoposide(CE)w ith radiotherapy. scores on QOL were used to measure quality of life at 1st and 3rd month during treatment.
