ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate osteoporosis prevalence in the elderly with type 2 diabetics. Method Osteoporosis prevalence in 338 elderly patients with type 2 diabetics (60-69 and 70-79 years old, respectively) was compared with 199 non-elderly (50-59 years old) patients and 531 elderly subjects from local reference data.
